Estonia outlines Council Presidency agriculture priorities

The incoming Estonian Presidency of the Council has revealed its priorities for the EU’s agriculture sector during its upcoming six-month term as Council President, prioritising making progress on a potential reform of the CAP post-2020.

Estonia will take over the mantle of Council President from Malta on July1, outlining today (June 9) that it will focus on the future of the CAP, issuesconcerning agricultural markets and improvement of the position of agriculturalproducers in the food
