The new European Commissioner for Health, Stella Kyriakides said that a proposal on the regulation of new breeding techniques (NBTs) in plants could be included in the next “Farm to fork” Strategy.
At the global level, the US Secretary of State visiting Europe underlined the importance of science-based decisions and NBTs in this context.
