Clever Leaves is looking for Agronomists!
Mission of Position:
Supporting agronomy efforts (crop management) for the production of high-quality plants.
Responsibilities:
– Monitoring of pests and diseases;
– Elaboration and implementation of the biological control plan and strategy;
– Recommendation and supervision of the application of phytopharmaceuticals;
– Preparation and review of work intrusions and operating procedures;
– Preparation of technical reports;
– Participation in studies and trials of new varieties and production techniques (tests, data received and reports reports);
– Data collection and analyses.
Requeriments:
– Bachelor’s Degree in agriculture or scientific related field (Master’s degree preferred);
– Minimum of 1 year of work experience in agriculture distribution and/or cultivation experience;
– Fluency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus);
– Residence near Odemira;
-Someone interested in working in a fairly new and growing industry with an ever-changing environment;
-Someone Flexiblie, independent and resourceful;
-And most of all must have a passion for field work!
Employment conditions:
Contract with term; salary depends on experience; health insurance;
